About me.

I’m Tawnya, a Kentucky native who moved to Gaston County, North Carolina twenty-two years ago with my husband of twenty-four hours! We’ve experienced the awesome adventure of raising two children and building friendships with some truly authentic people. As a wife and mother, I understand the challenges of envisioning, creating, and maintaining a home and healthy lifestyle. Everyone desires a home that reflects their personality and passions without creating debt and stress. During my nursing career, I saw how daily life choices affected the physical and emotional wellbeing of family members (human or furry). Adulting is difficult at times, so beyond decor, Havoc To Haven offers daily life skill mentoring for clients of any age who desire a little encouragement and help.

Like many of you, my career path morphed into following my passions. I took a leap of faith in launching my own business after completing my certification in Interior Decor & Design. While my career path and home state changed, I remain committed to the principles learned helping my dad farm: be dependable, be honest, do your best, love your neighbor as yourself, and always be a Kentucky Wildcat at heart -Go Big Blue!
